Last Saturday I went to The Wedding Party at the Palace Hotel. It was put together by The Wedding Library and spanned the second and fifth floors. Throughout the day they had a Colin Cowie book signing, bouquet making demonstrations, a band showcase, and a fashion show.

Some vendors that specifically caught my eye were Bernard Maisner (an amazing calligrapher), One Girl Cookies, Bride's Head Revisited, Tejani Couture Fashion Jewelry, The Glacier Group with their amazing bourbon cocktails, Oliver Cheng Catering, and Ron Ben-Israel cakes. I tasted one of the most magnificent cakes I have ever had from Ron Ben-Israel. It was a citrus cake with Grand Marnier and cranberry and lime frosting. It was amazing. There was also a private jet company called Bluestar Jets. I spoke to them a while about their services and was surprised to find how relatively affordable it is to charter a flight. Very interesting a good news for those wanting to have a small destination wedding!
