BFF Bridal - Best in Bridal Honeymoon Event

BFF Bridal - Best in Bridal Honeymoon Event
Jumeirah Essex House
6:30pm-8:30pm

I arrived at the Essex House tonight around 6:20pm and waited in line for about 15 minutes with about 25 other girls for the opening of the event. We were all let in, checked off the guestlist and given a paper raffle ticket.

Upon entering Le Grand Salon, immediately to the right was a set up for Jumeirah Essex House. The room was filled with a plethora of resort and hotel booths, sprinkled with beauty, lingerie and photographer booths, accompanied by the musical stylings of Signature Events.

A lot of the hotels were in the New England region and had gorgeous properties others were potential destination and honeymoon sites. Some that particularly caught my eye were Anantara for its adventurous appeal (located in Thailand, Indonesia, Maldives, UAE, China, Turkey, and others); Twin Farms for its gorgeous wedding space and clear top tents (located in Barnard, Vermont); Rock Resorts for its active honeymoon appeal (located in Colorado); Beau-Rivage Palace for its sick ballroom with several hanging chandeliers and stained glass domed ceiling (located in Lausanne, Switzerland); and Wimco Private Villas for its selection (located in St. Barts, Italy, Greece, France, Morrocco, and others).

Other vendors included Paul Labrecque (beauty), Cosabella (lingerie), Alex Woo (personalized jewelry), Fresh (beauty), and Michael Marcus (beauty) which is sold exclsively in Takashimaya and Four Seasons Hotel, and James Christian (photographer). There were two models in gowns provided by Mark Ingram, a little buffet and two bars with signature Midori drinks. I tried both and abandoned both.... why was there only bright green, super sweet cocktails at this event? I know it's Midori, but come on. No one could have possibly drank more than one of these.

The gift bag had 12 goodies in it including: Escada Moon Sparkle eau de toilette, Fekkai coiff control, NARS cosmetics, and OPI nail laquer along with gifts from some of the vendors inside.
